RACE AND COURSE DESCRIPTION                                                               2

DISTANCES:        
3.8 km swimming, 180 km cycling and 42.2 km running per day for 10 days
                                      10 Ironman in 10 days, one each day
LIMIT TIME:          
10 days
SWIMMING: 
     
OPTION 1° Olympic indoor swimming pool at the University of Nuevo Leon, it
                                                         counts with heating system. 
                                OPTION 2°  Olympic outdoor swimming pool at the Sociedad Cuahutemoc y
                                                           famosa (SCyF) not heating system and semi-Olympic swimming 
                                                           pool with heating system. 
BIKE AND RUN:  
Bike paved circuit (1.915), Running paved circuit (1.886 km.) Located at the “Parque
Niños Héroes”. Closed to traffic, completely illuminated, 95% flat, 5% slight slope or hill.
ENRTY FEE:
     
$ 1,500:00 U.S. Dollars for individual athletes
 
$ 2,500:00 U.S. Dollars for team from 2 or 3 athletes
CATEGORIES:      
Individual: 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and older men and women.
Team:  Each athlete is allowed to participate in the 3 stages and the minimum distance
that each one he/she should make is:    
                             
Swimming:  One lap in the pool (100 meters)      
                             
Cycling:       One lap in the circuit (1.915 km)    
                             
Running:     One lap in the circuit (1.886 km)  
AWARDS: 
Trophy to all competitors. 
Gold, silver and bronze IUTA medal to the 1, 2 and 3 general places men and women
IUTA medal and diploma for every finisher  
PRIZE MONEY Individual:     $ 4000.00 U.S. Dollars

IMPORTANT:        To be able to obtain the prize money, it is mandatory to finish each one of the 10
                               Ironman within 24 hours each one
In case there are less than 20 participants men, the prize money will be as follow:
From 16 to 19 participants, the organization will pay 75% of the total prize money
        
   
From 10 to 15 participants, the organization will pay 50% of the total prize money
From 5 to 9 participants, the organization will pay 25% of the total prize money
From 1 to 4 participants there will be no prize money
